The Berghaus Grünsee was built in 1887 and was formerly named “Pension Findelen-Gletscher”, which means "Pension near the Findelen Glacier". The Berghaus is one of the 20 oldest hotels in Zermatt. In 1985 it underwent a complete renovation.
